The University of Georgia, Honors Program
Requirements: CSS, Adobe CS4, XHTML, XML, CGI, JavaScript

I received a request from the Honors Program at the University of Georgia to redesign their current websites, combining them into one unified website. I worked with Honors to develop a more user friendly navigation system, based on specifications that they provided. Approved concept designs were converted to W3C compliant code, leading to template driven pages, which will allow them to maintain the website with ease. Video clips were created and added to the website for enhancement and the navigation system was built using XML, which expands and collapses for access to sub-levels.

WebMD
Requirements: Adobe CS4

In my role as Senior Web Designer at WebMD, I was involved in production work such as a complete redesign of the primary website, advertisement design, concept boards, wire-frames and other web and print related materials. The environment was that of an advertising agency, with numerous designers, programmers, art directors, project managers, marketing reps, and editorial staff. Various content management systems and project management tools were used to manage project time-lines, schedules, and content development. Branding, user interface, and clean design were key factors to developing such a successful website.

The University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences
Requirements: Adobe CS4, PHP, XML, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, Flash, CSS, CGI, Audio/Video

As Web Developer Principal at the University of Georgia, I was the lead web designer/developer for the oldest and largest college on campus, consisting of 40+ departments and programs, whom I assisted with web design/development, graphic design, audio/video creation, and consultation concerning various topics such as current and emerging web trends, budgeting for grant projects, and user interface. I designed an estimated 150 websites during my time there of 7 years. I was responsible for overhauling the Web Services department by training assistants and offering services beyond Web Design, such as digital photography, video, multimedia, graphic design, and Podcasting. I typically worked with web committees, Department/Program Directors, lead IT liaisons and programmers to design custom, static and dynamic websites. I managed every aspect of Web Services, including scheduling, project time-lines, budget, and the college's web team.
